Datebook: October 30 - Hurricane Sandy Moves West

Hurricane Sandy is the largest Atlantic tropical system on record, stretching from the Caribbean to Canada. She flooded heavily populated areas, left millions without power, claimed 87 lives overall (so far), and closed Wall Street. Sandy is now a post-tropical cyclone moving northwest. See our Sandy Tracker.

It’s Tuesday, October 30

William T. Turner recounts the Legend of the Bell Witch tomorrow night at 5:30 in the amphitheater behind the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.  Bring a warm blanket and enjoy a spine-tingling ghost story.  Admission is free.
