he Murray State University Jazz Band and the Murray State University Jazz Orchestra present a fall concert tonight at 7:30 at Lovett Auditorium. The Blue and Gold Jazz Combos also perform. Guest directors are Dr. Roger E. Reichmuth, John E. Fannin, and Dennis L. Johnson. Admission is free.
"Alive Inside" is an award-winning documentary dealing with music in the management of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. There’s a free screening of the film this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Weaks Community Center, located on Poplar Street in Murray. Erin Delancy, music therapist at Spring Creek Health Care, answers questions following the film.
Paducah’s 7th Annual Affordable Art Show is set for this Thursday night from 5 to 8 at the Yeiser Art Center, located at 200 Broadway in Paducah. The show and sale includes work priced at $500 or less by area artists. All proceeds from the event benefit the participating artists and the Paducah Arts Alliance.
