Happy birthday to "The Man of a Thousand Voices," Mel Blanc. One of the most influential people in voice-acting, Blanc gave voice to dozens of Looney Tunes characters, from Bugs Bunny to Yosemite Sam. He died in 1989 and his gravestone reads in all caps: "THAT'S ALL FOLKS"

The Graves County 8th Annual Eagle Gridiron Golf Tournament is tomorrow at the Mayfield-Graves County Golf and Country Club with a 3PM shotgun start. The cost for a four-member team is $150. To learn more or to register, call 970-0124.

The Spokes for Strokes bike tour is Saturday, with 7AM registration at the Baptist Health Imaging Center in Paducah, followed by the tour at 8AM. The bike tour offers 10-, 35-, or 65-mile rides through southern McCracken, Marshall, and Graves counties. All rides will be followed by support vehicles. Helmets are required.
