The Paducah Police Department Bicycle and Surplus Auction is Saturday, May 31, at the Police Department. The auction includes 60 bicycles and more than 100 miscellaneous items such as clothing, electronics, tools, jewelry, hunting equipment, and more. Registration starts at 8 and the auction starts at 9. Proceeds benefit the Police and Fire Pension Fund.
Lieutenant Colonel Steve Elliott, commander of the 1st Battalion, 238th Field Artillery, and assistant professor at the University of Tennessee at Martin, is the guest speaker for the UTM Memorial Day program, to be held Friday morning at 9 in front of the Hall-Moody Administration Building. The public is invited to attend.
