Murray Preschool/Head Start and Early Head Start hold registration for the 2014-2015 school year on Friday at the Murray Board of Education. Registration is by appointment only; call 270-809-3262 to schedule. The Preschool/Head Start program serves eligible three and four year old children.

The West Kentucky Wig Out is a chance to donate at least 8 inches of hair to the American Cancer Society and Pantene Beautiful Lengths to make natural hair wigs for cancer patients. The event is set for Saturday morning at 10 at Paducah Middle School. The cost is $20 for a professional cut and style. The public is invited to attend.
