Land Between the Lakes hosts an informational public meeting to discuss its road system tomorrow evening at 5:30 at the Grand Rivers Senior/Community Center. Murray-Calloway County Hospital holds a Kickoff Rally for the national Cancer Prevention Study-3 Wednesday at 11 in the North Tower Lobby. The study is open to anyone who is willing to make a long-term commitment to the study, is between the ages of 30 and 65, and has never been diagnosed with cancer. Court Appointed Special Advocates seeks volunteer advocates from the Murray-Calloway County area. Volunteers with the non-profit organization advocate for the timely and safe placement of abused and neglected children. Training is provided.
