Datebook: July 17 - Primitive Rodeo, Blood Drive, Summer Basketball Camp

Wranglers Campground hosts the 19th Annual Primitive Rodeo tonight and tomorrow night at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating to watch events include bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, bull riding, and more.

The American Red Cross holds a blood drive Tuesday from 11 to 4 at St. John's Episcopal Church, located at 1620 Main Street in Murray. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, visit redcrossblood.org

West Kentucky Community and Technical College offers a summer basketball camp next week for elementary and middle school students. Students in grades 2-5 meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and grades 6-9 meet from 1-4:30 p.m. in WKCTC's Haws Gymnasium. For registration details, contact Daniel Potts at (270) 534-3223.
