Datebook: January 28 - Comedy Club, Paint-A-Thon, Photoshop Class

Market House Theatre holds Comedy Club, an alternative Saturday night entertainment for grades 6 through 12. Area teens participate in sketch comedy, fast-paced games, and think-on-your-feet situations. The first event is this Saturday night from 7:30 to 10 at the Studio Theatre. Pre-registration is required.

There’s an Empty Bowls Paint-A-Thon this Sunday afternoon at Funky Monkey Pottery Company in Draffenville. Each bowl painted is used as part of the Marshall County 2016 Empty Bowls Project Dinner, which benefits Marcella’s Kitchen. The event lasts from 1 to 4, and the participation fee is payable at the door. West Kentucky Community College offers a non-credit community class on Photoshop Tuesday nights in February from 6:30 to 9:30.

The class teaches participants to use Adobe Photoshop to manipulate images, create composite images, and retouch photographs. Fee information and registration details are available on the WKCTC website.
