Datebook: January 13 - The Drawer Boy, Camp Tyson, Winter Birding Tour

Market House Theatre presents Michael Healey's play "The Drawer Boy" starting tomorrow night. The play is about the lifelong friendship of Morgan and Angus, two boys who grew up in Canada in the 1920s. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30, with a 2:30 Sunday matinee. 

The Jackson Purchase Historical Society offers a program on Camp Tyson during World War II this Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center. Historian and journalist Shannon McFarlin shares the story of the camp, its men, and their relationship to Paris and Henry County. Meetings are open to the public.

Land Between the Lakes holds a Winter Birding Hotspots Van Tour this Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11:30. Join naturalists to search for eagles, pelicans, loons, other waterfowl, and a wide variety of wildlife, and zoom in with spotting scopes for a closer look. Reservations and full deposits are required.
