Datebook: February 2 - Black Ink Blue Collar, Youth Art Workshops, Art of Caregiving

Austin Peay State University’s Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center hosts an exhibit titled "Black Ink, Blue Collar" featuring the watercolors of APSU alumna Miesha Arnold. The display opens today and runs through the 27th. A closing reception is scheduled for February 26 from 5-7 p.m. 

The Murray Art Guild offers several youth art workshops during the months of February, March, and April. Upcoming workshops include WHIRL, MAG Juniors, Picture America, and Side By Side. For details and registration, visit murrayartguild.org.

The Murray Calloway Endowment for Health Care sponsors a public forum titled "The Art of Caregiving" this Thursday night at 6:30 at the Marshall County Cooperative Extension Office. The informational session features a panel of professionals with expertise on legal issues, community resources for caregivers, hospice and end-of-life care, spiritual needs, Alzheimer's, and dementia. A Q&A session follows the presentations, and light refreshments are served.
