The Aaron McNeil House is a crisis relief center located at 604 East 2nd Street in Hopkinsville. The center assists the working poor of Christian County and seeks donations of hot or cold cereal, canned veggies, boxed meals, ramen noodles, dried milk, dried pasta, rice, beans, canned fruit, and toiletries. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
The 32nd Annual West Kentucky Boat & Outdoor Show is set for January 15th through the 17th at the CFSB Center on the campus of Murray State University. The annual event includes displays of products and services for outdoor enthusiasts, including boats, fishing supplies, dock builders, taxidermy, and more.
The WATCH Center at 702 Main Street in Murray needs aluminum cans for an ongoing fundraising project. Drop off cans any time by driving through the parking lot on the west side of the center and placing them in the cotton wagon.
