Datebook: December 27 - Louis Pasteur's Birthday

The Alzheimer’s Association holds a workshop designed for family caregivers called “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters.” The workshop is set for January 15th from 10 to noon at the Hopkins County – Madisonville Public Library. Registration is required by calling 1-800-272-3900. 

Land Between the Lakes hosts an “Everything Eagles” van tour on Saturday, January 11. Spend the afternoon visiting some of LBL’s eagle-viewing hot spots during a staff-led tour. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars. The cost is $7 for adults or $5 for children. Make reservations by calling 270-924-2020.

First United Methodist Church in Paris hosts a Trivia Night on Saturday, January 11. Teams of up to 8 people compete in 8 rounds of trivia on a variety of topics. The cost is $5 per participant. Funds raised help a Volunteers in Mission pediatric medical mission to Sierra Leone. For more information call 731-336-2834.
