Datebook: December 23 - Bowling for a Cure, A Day with Trains, Veteran Dental Cleaning

The inaugural "Bowling for a Cure" tournament is Thursday, January 1 at 1 p.m. at Spare Time Lanes in Mayfield. The USBC-certified singles tournament is a fundraiser for Relay For Life of Mayfield and Graves County. The winner receives $1000. There’s a three-game qualifier for participants with the top one in six moving on to a seeded single elimination bracket. To register, call (270) 804-7324.

 

This Saturday the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County host "A Day With Trains" at the Pennyroyal Area Museum. Watch as conductors run five trains on two elaborate model train layouts and make a craft to take home. For more information, visit museumsofhopkinsville.org/holidays2014.
