Datebook: December 18 - Teen Spirit, Police Food Drive, Christmas Tree Sale

Tomorrow is the deadline to enter artwork in the Yeiser Art Center’s 22nd annual Teen Spirit Exhibition. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to submit images of their work to submissionsteenspirit@gmail.com. Include a high resolution image, the name of the work, artist's name, teacher's name, school name, medium, price, and date created. More information at theyeiser.org

The Mayfield Police Department’s food drive continues through tomorrow. The police department waives the fee for a copy of a burglary or accident report in exchange for donating a food item to benefit the local food pantry. Drop off items at city hall from 8 to 4:30.

The Knights of Columbus Christmas Tree sale continues in Paducah at the Farmer's Market Pavilion. Christmas trees are available for sale on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5, as well as on weekday evenings from 4 to 8. Proceeds help provide groceries for local families.
