The Hopkins County Madisonville Public Library offers an afternoon craft program for adults this Saturday from noon to 4 at the library. Participants make holiday gift bags and tags. The free program is open to adults only.
The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah continues to display its Annual Members’ Show through the end of this week. The show features a diversity of styles, artistic mediums, and subject matter. The center’s next featured show is the Teen Spirit Exhibition 2015 Winners, consisting of work by area high school art students. That exhibit opens January 18th and runs through the 31st.
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park hosts The Gathering of the Eagles January 9 and 10 at the park. The weekend includes luxury boat tours and bus tours in search of bald eagles, with interpretive staff from the Kentucky Department of Parks and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife on hand to answer questions. Reservations are now available.
