The Hopkins County-Madisonville Public Library hosts "A Very Merry Happy Holiday Film Fest" this Saturday at the library. The first show starts at 1 p.m. and the second show starts at 3 p.m. Popcorn and sodas provided.
The Smithland Area Chamber of Commerce presents the Christmas Courtyard Spectacular this Sunday evening from 4 to 8 at the Old Smithland Courthouse. The event features the Livingston County School District Children's Choirs at 4 and Christmas carols by the Community Adult Choir at 5. Then at 6, it’s a reading of the Christmas Story with Santa Claus, live music, and a bonfire social.
Regional musicians of all genres are invited to apply to perform at the 2015 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival, to be held in Paducah May 15th and 16th. Submit applications by December 19th at 5 p.m. For more information, visit paducahsymphony.org.
