Datebook 5/11: Through the Decades, Spokes for Strokes, LBL Kids Pass

The Murray Woman’s Club Music Department holds its spring fundraiser titled “Through the Decades” tomorrow night at 6 at the clubhouse. The event includes dinner and performances by the Murray Woman’s Club Chorus and Water Horse. All proceeds go to music scholarships for Murray State, Calloway County High School, and Murray High School students.

Baptist Health Paducah hosts the Spokes for Strokes bike tour on Saturday, June 4, to raise stroke awareness, along with funds for life-saving technologies and expanded stroke care services. The tour offers 10, 35, or 65-mile rides. Helmets are required. Registration is available at active.com.

Kids in grade 4 can get a free pass to visit the Woodlands Nature Station and the Homeplace 1850s Working Farm at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Passes grant free entry for the student and up to three adults, plus family members age 15 and under. Passes are available at everykidinapark.gov.
