Datebook 4/25: Last Days of Thomas Merton, Sew up a Yo-Yo, Expungement Info Session

The Murray State University department of history religious studies program presents "The Many Storeys and Last Days of Thomas Merton" tomorrow afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 in Faculty Hall Room 505. A panel discussion with philosophy professor Dr. Cynthia Gayman and history professor Matthew Robertson follows. 

The Pennyroyal Area Museum in Hopkinsville holds a sewing workshop for children this Wednesday afternoon at 4. The workshop features the project “Sew up a Yo-Yo!” and teaches kids to make round flower-like shapes out of fabric to use on hair accessories or pins. The workshop is in conjunction with the museum’s 27th Annual Quilt Show, on display through the end of the month.

Clean Slate Kentucky holds an expungement information session this Thursday at 6 at the Murray State University Hopkinsville Campus. Learn about significant changes to the Kentucky expungement law coming in mid-July and how to request expungement. The event is free and open to the public.
