Datebook 3/30: Outdoor Living Expo, Immigrant Art Exhibit, Jubilee Singers

The Christian County Master Gardener Association hosts the 2016 Garden and Outdoor Living Expo this Friday and Saturday at the James Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville. The expo includes exhibits, vendors, food, family activities, and a keynote speech by Troy Marden. Doors open Friday at 4 and the event runs until 6 on Saturday. Admission is free.

StudioMars in Paducah hosts an exhibit titled “America Through the Eyes of an Immigrant: The Paducah Chapter,” featuring work by photographer Dmitry Gomberg. There’s an opening reception this Saturday evening from 5 to 7 at the studio, located on North 7th Street in the Lowertown Arts District.

Fort Donelson National Battlefield hosts a free evening of music by the Fisk University Jubilee Singers and local middle and high school students this Saturday night at 7 at the Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. Free tickets are available at the Stewart County Visitor Center in Dover or at local businesses in Paris.
