The Dawson Springs Branch Library hosts “An Evening with Abraham Lincoln” tonight at 6 in the Katherine Barnett Meeting Room. David Wolfe brings history to life as he recounts the events that shaped not only Lincoln but the country as a whole. Light refreshments are provided.
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park holds its 43rd Annual Elk and Bison Buffet and Local Artist Showcase tomorrow. The meal is served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and includes bison, wild boar, elk meatloaf, catfish, fried chicken, duck, frog legs, bison taco pie, bison chili, and more. Local artists showcase their work through displays, demonstrations, and hands-on opportunities for the public from noon to 6 in the lodge lobby.
Old Duffers and Powder Puffers, the senior acting troupe of Playhouse in the Park, performs tomorrow night at 6 and Sunday afternoon at 2:30. The performance includes six short pieces. Admission is free.
