Datebook 2/17: Blood Drive, My Fair Lady, Trivia Night

The American Red Cross holds a blood drive tomorrow afternoon from 12:30 to 5:30 at the Ballard County Cooperative Extension Office. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. To schedule an appointment, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Graves County High School drama, choir, and orchestra students join together to present the musical-comedy “My Fair Lady.” The Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle takes speech lessons from Professor Henry Higgins in order to pass as a lady. Shows are at new times: Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. and Saturday March 5 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Graves County Schools Performing Arts Center. This production was moved back due to recent bad weather.

Murray Main Street holds a Trivia Night this Friday at the Murray Banquet Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., and play begins at 6:30 p.m. The format is seven rounds of ten questions, with cash prizes and door prizes awarded.
