Paducah, KY – The Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center Corporation plans to hire someone to manage its facilities after failing to reach an agreement with the management of Carson Four Rivers Center. The Carson Center rents space for meetings and receptions at the Julian Carroll Convention Center and Paducah Expo Center, but is not interested in running two more facilities. The operator of the Executive Inn previously managed the facilities. Convention board chairman Jim Sigler says he hopes someone will be hired at the next board meeting August 3.
