Wow! We received over 30 entries from across the region for our first-ever Sounds Good Singer/Songwriter Invitational. The creative talent in this region is staggering. We are so grateful to everyone who sent us a song. Trying to narrow almost three dozen entries to six finalists was very challenging. Ultimately, our criteria came down to this: composition of the song, lyrical quality, performance quality, and a Dylan-esque storytelling quality.
And now... It's up to you to pick the winner!
Congratulations to these finalists. Please cast your vote for the song you like the most in the comments below or on our Facebook page. We'll tally them all together and announce the winner Thursday, April 18. The grand prize is a pair of tickets to see Bob Dylan in concert on April 27 at MSU's CFSB Center. Listen to Sounds Good Tuesday, April 16 and again Thursday, April 18 to hear these songs on the air!
