Clarksville, TN – Clarksville City Council passed Mayor Johnny Piper's master plan at a second reading last night. The almost quarter-million dollar comprehensive study will map out future growth for the next 20 years. The study will be broad in scope, looking at everything from architectural design and economics to recreation and entertainment. City Communication Director Christie Hill says transportation is the single largest element of the plan and will have its own steering committee. A committee composed of community members will oversee the other parts of the planning effort.
