The City of Madisonville has a new police chief. Chris Taylor was sworn in on Thursday after the retirement of Chief Wade Williams.
According to the City, Taylor graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Police Administration.
He attended the Academy of Police Supervision, Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Officer’s Course, Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy and the Criminal Justice Executive Development Course.
Taylor has served in every position offered by the Madisonville Police Department since beginning his service in 1993. He recently served as Major of Operations Division.
