Beshear's State of State Address Set for Feb. 6
By Todd Hatton and The Associated Press
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear will deliver his State of the Commonwealth address Feb. 6. Spokeswoman Kerri Richardson announced the date last week for the annual speech to a joint session of the Legislature.
Beshear is expected to highlight his legislative priorities for the upcoming General Assembly. Lawmakers are set to arrive in Frankfort tomorrow to start the legislative session. But after taking a week to get organized, they will adjourn until Feb. 5 when they return to get down to business.
