Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has accepted an invitation to debate his primary challengers for the Commonwealth's top office. Beshear will appear with State Senate President David Williams and independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith in a debate sponsored by the Kentucky Broadcasters Association and the Kentucky League of Women voters. The debate is currently scheduled for October 11. The Paducah Sun reports Governor Beshear has been declining most invitations to debate his opponents in part due to his substantial lead in state-wide polls
