Belmont Beats the Racers in OVC Championship OT

The Murray State Racers were not able to seal the deal in OT in their 70-68 loss to the Belmont Bruins at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship tonight in Nashville. This was the Racers' first loss in the conference final since 2000.

The winning shot came from Bruins guard Kerron Johnson with 1.2 seconds left in play after Racer Isaiah Canaan lost a ball off his foot for a back-court violation.

The Racers finish their season at 21-10.
