The goal of the conference is to try to help businesses in the region stay more secure. With the number of threats out there today, from ransom ware to viruses to malware and physical threats like damage to the structure of the business, there are things businesses can do to mitigate risk.

Topics will include protecting business from a military background experience, a disaster recovery panel and staying ahead of technology and security concerns.

The conference is split into two days. the Security Matters conference is April 28, the IT Matters conference will be held on September 29 in Paducah.

The conference is free and lunch is provided.

See the conference website for agenda and registration.
