APSU Offering Tuition Discount to Out-of-State Students, Most of Kentucky

Starting this fall, Austin Peay State University is offering a discounted tuition rate to students within a 250 mile radius.

APSU signed on to a Tennessee Board of Regents program, extending the rate to high school students in nearly all of Kentucky and parts of 10 other states.This means undergraduates will be able to attend for about $5,000 less than before, with a similar discount for graduate students.

APSU Spokesman Bill Persinger says mostincoming freshmenwill also qualify for the Provost’s Out of State Scholarship. He says that scholarship, combined with the new discount, will bring tuition for freshmen close to the in-state rate of about $3,751.
