She comes to Louisville from KVNO News in Omaha, Neb., where she was the news director. She also served as executive producer of "The Omaha News," a student-produced television show on the Omaha PBS affiliate. Johnson, a Gary,Ind., native, has a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and has also written for newspapers, including the Northwest Indiana Times and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
