Underwriting Representative

Dixie Lynn is a born and raised St. Louis, MO girl. She has been an avid supporter and listener of community sponsored radio, namely KDHX 88.1 and KWMU 90.7, since the late 90s when she would tape record her favorite shows to listen to them over and over. After graduating from University of Missouri- St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2005, she spent a great deal of time traveling cross country, working with natural health and wellness companies. When first settling in Paducah in 2010, she tuned in to Music from the Front Porch on WKMS 91.3 and hasn’t changed her dial since.

Other than public radio, her passions include natural health and nutrition, hiking excursions, river life, drive- in movie theaters, micro- brewed sodas and collecting and selling old stuff. Dixie and her husband, local musician Nathan Blake Lynn, reside with their two children in Paducah, where they also run an antique booth. She is excited for the opportunity to not only work with and further support WKMS but also all of the amazing local businesses!

Ways to Connect

Ah, yes, September. A time of harvest. And later this month, those fresh fruits and veggies will find their way from local farms onto our plates at Paducah's newest restaurant, Freight House.

Located inside the train depot on 3rd street in Downtown Paducah, the Freight House brings new life and fresh food to the historic landmark. The seasonal menu will feature Southern flavors with responsibly-raised meats and produce, all sourced locally within a day's drive from Paducah. Such careful selection allows food lovers to enjoy food grown for flavor, not for long travel.

RIVERfront Concert Series Flyer, Paducah Parks Services

Paducah Parks Services The Paducah Riverfront has long been a favorite destination for downtown visitors, whether sitting and watching riverboats float by or enjoying an evening picnic to cap the day. Starting later this month, visitors can also enjoy some free music while taking in the scenery as Paducah Parks present the RIVERfront Concert Series.

Dry Ground Brewing Company We'll gladly say goodbye to the snow this spring. But there's one ice-cold thing we can't get enough of: craft beer from Paducah's new microbrewery: Dry Ground Brewing Company.
