Some of her commissions include the official portrait of Secretary of the US Navy, Richard Danzig; New York Jets owner, Robert Wood Johnson; and recently, John E. Bryson, the 37th US Secretary of Commerce. Her work has been on exhibit across the country, featured in magazines, and has won several awards, including first place in "The Best Paintings of 2000" competition by The Artist's Magazine. Competitors in the Spartan Death Race&nbsp; can look forward to at least 48 hours of excruciating pain and challenges designed to push them to their limits. &nbsp;Murray insurance agent&nbsp;Ryan Walker&nbsp;is training to be one of the few to complete the endurance challenge next month. So Friday's event opens at 7 p.m.; the Luminaria Ceremony is at 9:30; and bands play from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. when everybody's tired and there's some attrition.
