Get ready for a fun-filled autumn adventure for the whole family with the 5th Annual Hay Bale Trail at Mahr Park Arboretum! Marvel at the impressive displays of creativity and talent from local businesses and organizations as you drive through the scenic trail. With over 80 entries, you’ll be delighted by the unique hay bale creations and the beauty of Mahr Park.
Families with Toddlers, Kids, Tweens, and Teens are invited to come trick or treat for candy & fun treats at the Calloway County Public Library.
Join Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Downtown on Halloween afternoon for FREE trick-or-treating! Candy will be passed out from 3:30 – 5:30 PM on South Main Street.
Come in costume and bring your own candy bag AGES: walking – 12 Children must be accompanied by an adult ROUTE: South Main St from 6th St to 13th St After 3:00 PM, no parking will be available on S. Main between 7th and 13th.
This year, take part in the NEW “No-Scare Square” with Pennyroyal Center! Located at Founder’s Square, this space will provide a calm, safe environment for children and families, particularly those who may feel overwhelmed by the typical Halloween festivities. The area will be designed to offer de-escalation, relaxation, and community resources to support mental and emotional well-being.

Come out to the hour long fundraiser concert for the Music Department where we see how many ensembles can perform in just one hour! Fall Fanfare will be October 31st at 8 p.m. in Lovett Auditorium. Tickets can only be purchased at the door and are $10 per person, but children 5 and under get in free.
