The Murray State University Women's Center sponsors the second annual production of "The Vagina Monologues" on Friday, February 17, and Saturday, February 18, in the Curris Center Small Ballroom. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Stories told by the 16-person all-female cast include experiences involving dating, self-exploration and identity, LGBT topics, abuse, and ultimately what it means to be a woman. Tickets are $5 and are sold at the door. Buttons, T-shirts, and signed cast posters are also available. Proceeds benefit the Purchase Area Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit that provides intervention services to victims of sexual-based crimes.
