Murray High Tigers Could Set Records Tonight

Murray, KY – It's every Coaches dream to have a perfect season. The Murray High Tigers began their winning streak back in August, something not seen here for 16 years. Tonight they face a fellow undefeated opponent, the Fort Campbell Falcons. It's the third game in a five game championship playoff, and if the Tigers pull a win tonight they will make Murray High history.

Coach- "Come on! You got to love this right here fellas, you gotta love this."

Molding Tomorrow's Manufacturing Worker

Madisonville, KY – A five and a half million dollar National Science Foundation grant is enabling a multi-college, industry-partnered collaborative across several states to produce the manufacturing worker of tomorrow. Kentucky's Community and Technical College is one school system spearheading the initiative and its Madisonville campus is already showing results.

October Jobless Wrap

Frankfort, KY – In July, Kentucky's jobless rate hit 11%, the state's highest rate in 26 years. It rose to 11-point-two percent in August, but fell to 10.9% in September. But last month, the commonwealth's jobless rate again rose to 11.2%.

The professional and business sectors surged by five thousand positions in October. Other sectors seeing job increases include government, financial activities, leisure and hospitality, mining and logging, and construction.
