The Calloway County Fiscal Court's Solid Waste Committee is looking at expanding the county’s nuisance ordinance.

Following Murray State Provost Dr. Jay Morgan’s appointment to a position with the Council on Postsecondary Education, MSU President Dr. Bob Davies has tapped Dr. Tim Todd to replace Morgan on an interim basis, beginning July 1st. 

Dr. Todd joined the Murray State faculty in 1995, rising to Assistant Provost in 1998 and Associate Provost in 2002.  Since 2006, Todd has served as dean of MSU’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.

A recanvass of the Calloway County's 2nd District Magistrate race came up with the same results as election night.

Candidate Bill Duncan called for the recanvass after Tim Todd won the race by 41 votes, or 2 percent.

Calloway County 2nd District Magistrate Candidate Bill Duncan is calling for a recanvass. He lost against Democrat Tim Todd last week by 41 votes, less than 2 percent of those cast.

County Clerk Antonia Faulkner says the recanvass starts 9 tomorrow morning at the Calloway County courthouse.

The College's dean, Dr. Tim Todd, visits Kate Lochte on Sounds Good with more information about the day long focus on "The Future of West Kentucky," including a keynote address by Kentucky Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson.
