Since the last time Tracy Ross spoke with "Voice of the Racers" Neal Bradley, the Murray State Racers men's basketball team has played four games and won three. Bradley says they are peaking right now with only three games left in the regular season. Vying for a realistic number two seed, he says, in the OVC that comes with a double buy. If the Racers end up tied with UT Martin and lose the tie breaker, then they'll drop to 5th seed.

Here's a recap and a look ahead:

"Voice of the Racers" Neal Bradley predicted the struggles for this years' Racers team would come early before they start picking up the wins. They started off 5-2 and had a bit of a rough stretch, but record-wise they're about where he thought they'd be without having had a solid road game. On Sounds Good, Bradley updates his prediction, saying the best Racer basketball is coming in February, when some of the freshmen players will start to break out. He recaps the recent games a looks ahead with Tracy Ross.

As we head into the holidays, some of the recent Racer Men's Basketball games haven't ended up so festive, but "Voice of the Racers" Neal Bradley says the best is still yet to come for this team. He says 5-5 is about right at this time in the season. Some of the wins weren't against teams he expected the Racers to beat and some of the losses weren't expected either. He speaks with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good, recapping some of the recent games and a look ahead at the last games of 2015 and the first of 2016, as OVC play begins with three home games.
