Murray State University basketball officials are making an announcement this afternoon on sophomore Cameron Payne’s future.

In recent weeks, sports commentators across the country have speculated that Payne may be leaning towards an NBA draft, which would make him the youngest MSU player to go pro.

Steve Prohm will lead the Racers for the next five years.

Murray State University has renegotiated and extended Prohm’s contract to serve as head men’s basketball coach through March 31, 2019, with an automatic one-year extension carrying it out to 2020.
