The One Book, One Campus, One Community Read project at West Kentucky Community and Technical College has inspired a community-wide art contest centered around the book Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline, an historical novel staged between 1850-1930 and the effort to bring orphan children by train from northern cities to America's heartland. On Friday, WKCTC received a $400,000 donation from Paducah's Carson-Myre Charitable Foundation to finish Phase 3 of the Paducah School of Art and Design campus project.
