presidential search

Hopkinsville Community College has narrowed the list of names of potential candidates for a new college president.

Southern Illinois University’s executive board has hired a Texas search firm and chose its 20-person search committee to help find its new president.

R. William Funk and Associates of Dallas specializes in higher education. The search committee includes faculty, staff, students and community members.

Murray State’s Presidential Search Committee unanimously selected national firm Witt/Keiffer to manage the search process for the university’s next president. The committee chose the firm from a list of three preferred firms.

MSU’s Director of Procurement Deanne Toby says the details of Witt/Keiffer’s proposal will be public once the company and the university draft a contract.

Murray State University President Dr. Randy Dunn is one of two finalists in Missouri State University’s search for a new president.

The other finalist is former Missouri State general counsel and current interim president Clifton Smart III. Dunn has served as Murray State's President since 2006. Missouri State's website indicates campus interviews for the candidates are scheduled for the week of October 7th.
