Due to technical difficulties, we are not able to provide the audio from Friday's Special Olympics/Polar Plunge interview on Sounds Good. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The 2013 Western Kentucky Polar Plunge is set for February 16, at Kentucky Dam Village. The event is the major annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Kentucky, with several plunges held across the state.
And, yes, it’s what it sounds like: A group of silly, happy people jumping in to freezing cold water for a good cause. Murray-Calloway Special Olympics Coordinator Laura Miller, and Coach Chuck Williams joined Angela Hatton at WKMS's studios to talk about the plunge and Special Olympics.
