Today on Sounds Good we welcome the new executive editor of the Paducah Sun, Steve Wilson. In the mid-eighties, when he was with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Wilson edited and directed a year-long project "Life on the Land: An American Farm Family" which won that newspaper's Pulitzer Prize.

Rouse Retires from Ledger and Times

Alice Rouse, Publisher at the Murray Ledger and Times, is retiring soon—a rare event at the newspaper. Her replacement, Mike Davis will only be the third publisher at the Ledger and Times in the last 40 years. Davis is leaving the Hopewell News from Hopewell, Virginia.

Rouse will serve as Publisher Emeritus while Davis transitions into the new role for several months. Rouse began with the Ledger and Times in 1975 and became publisher in 2001.
