Districts Moving Foward to Raise Dropout Age

  The Kentucky Department of Education is well on its way to it’s goal of increasing the compulsory age of school attendance to 18. KDE offered a $10,000 grant to the first 57 districts that adopted the voluntary change.

Department of Education Says Midnight Meetings for Dropout Grants Unnecessary


The Kentucky Department of Education says many midnight meetings planned at area school districts are unnecessary, and not placing them at the front of the line for a $10,000 grant.
