Dunn’s Evaluation Still Ongoing

Murray State University President Dr. Randy Dunn’s five-year performance evaluation will likely be completed by the board of regents’ June meeting. Board Chairman Dr. Constantine Curris says this is the first comprehensive review of any President in the history of the University. He says a new policy the board adopted requires the evaluation after five years with the University. It entails meetings with various university stakeholders including faculty, staff, students and community leaders. The evaluation process has been ongoing since the board’s August meeting.

MSU Ends Undefeated Streak

The last undefeated college basketball team in the country, the Murray State Racers, fell to Tennessee State last night at the CFSB center in Murray.
The Racers lead for much of the game until the Tigers mounted a 21 to 7 run in the second half. The Racers failed to mount a last second comeback and ultimately lost 72 to 68. The Racers are now 23 and 1 on the season and still number one in the OVC.  They take the court at the CFSB center again Saturday against Austin Peay.

MSU Basketball Continues Winning Streak

The Murray State Racers Thursday home match up with Tennessee State could net the Racers at least a tie for the regular season title in the OVC with a 12-0 record conference play. TSU  is coming to Murray having won their last five games and are looking to stop the Racer’s streak.  Winning their last game against U-T Martin ensured the Racer’s their 25th consecutive winning season, which ties them with Connecticut at fourth best winning  streak in the nation. Thursday’s game begins at 7:00pm at the CFSB center.
