Leadership Paducah recently made a record $42,200 donation to the Merryman House to go towards building an expanded campus and services. Director Mary Foley said "I was so unbelievably caught off guard. I'm not sure what I expected, but that exceeded my expectations." She speaks with Kate Lochte on Sounds Good about the gift, the progress on their new building and new opportunities to connect with the community.

The Kentucky Justice Cabinet will distribute $2 million to organizations across the state to support survivors of domestic and dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault.

Merryman House Executive Director Mary Foley heads up a team offering residency and outreach services to meet the needs of victims of intimate partner abuse and their dependents as they strive to live free of violence in their home. The Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center was founded in Paducah in 1978 by a group of volunteers committed to ending domestic violence in the community. See more at
