Oak Grove Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Tampering with Evidence in Double-Homicide

A former Oak Grove police officer could serve three years in prison for tampering with evidence in an unsolved murder case nearly 20 years ago.

Leslie Duncan pled guilty Monday. Duncan’s arrest is the first in the unsolved case. He was one of the first officers on the scene and the lead investigator in the slayings of Gloria Ross and Candida Belt. They were shot and stabbed at a massage parlor that was later exposed as a front for a prostitution business.
