  A public policy think tank has released a report that says Kentucky could save around $170 million over the next five years by going electronic with some of its operations.

Kentucky State government employees have offered tips that could save the Commonwealth as much as $5.4 million dollars a year. Personnel Secretary Tim Longmeyer honored 64 workers yesterday or suggestions to improve productivity and government services.

KY Reports Drop in Government Revenue in April

Kentucky is reporting a decline in general government revenue in April after several months of growth.  State Budget Director Mary Lassiter says the nearly 1 percent drop in revenue isn't a sign that the economy has taken a step backward.
