Kentucky seeks input on list of polluted streams

The Kentucky Division of Water has begun gathering public input on a list of streams and lakes in the Commonwealth impaired by pollutants.  All states are required to compile such a list as part of a report to Congress every two years.  The list put together by officials in Kentucky shows hundreds of streams and lakes that have been impacted through a variety of sources, including coal mining, cattle farming, even human waste disposal.  That list is available for public comment at the Division of Water's website.
