Murray State's Director of Governmental Relations Jordan Smith joins Kate Lochte on Sounds Good to talk about some of the bills passed in this year's Legislative Session, an internship opportunity with the Legislative Research Commission for qualified college students and his thoughts on what it's like to work with Murray State President Dr. Bob Davies in Frankfort.

Murray State's Jones College of Science, Engineering & Technology Dean Dr. Steve Cobb joins Kate Lochte on Sounds Good to chat about the new half-million dollar project 'Test Drive A Racer,' supported by a grant form the James Graham Brown Foundation. This program grew out of a request for funding from a philanthropic organization. Dr. Cobb says students benefit from the opportunity to have internships before graduation in professionally meaningful environments. This program will help fund internship programs. He says The foundation is interested in looking at projects that benefit the higher education institutions in the state and economic vitality in the state.
